Upper School

The Upper School program builds strong academic skills, teaches students to reason logically and to communicate their thoughts clearly and effectively, and promotes responsible study habits.  Group work and cooperative learning tap students’ creative energy and reinforce respect and appreciation for the contribution of each person.  Teachers engage students in activities that require them to be responsible for managing their time and that help children to develop an awareness and understanding of how they learn best.  A rich extracurricular program allows students to pursue their interests while developing leadership, teamwork, and service to others.  Ample opportunities for performances and presentations foster students’ confidence in sharing their ideas and talents.   

The new art studio was inaugurated in 2006.
