To qualify, applicants must be one of the following:

• Siblings
• Children of alumni
• Children of professional staff
• Children of parishioners who have been actively involved at the Church of St. Luke in the Fields for at least two years.  

Early Notification applicants will be given preference at the Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten level where possible. The Early Notification application deadline is November 14, 2025. Families learn if their child has been admitted to St. Luke’s School in advance of the regular applicant pool.

Families who do not complete the Early Notification application process, who do not confirm their Early Notification status on the application, or who decline an early offer of admission will not receive Early Notification preference for their children. These children are assessed within the general applicant pool and receive notification of admission in February according to the standard dates established by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY).
