As Chief Admissions and Enrollment Officer, one of the greatest joys of my role is getting to know prospective families and helping you discover what makes St. Luke’s such a special place. Choosing a school for your child is an important decision, and we are delighted that you are considering St. Luke’s.

At St. Luke’s, we take great pride in our Junior Kindergarten - Grade 8 model. Our students have the opportunity to grow up in a close knit community where they are truly known, supported, and challenged. Over the course of their St. Luke’s journey, they build a strong academic foundation, develop confidence and independence, and ultimately become the leaders of our school.

Our five Community Standards—dignity, compassion, respect, excellence, and honesty—are at the heart of the St. Luke’s experience. They shape not only how our students learn, but also how they treat one another and contribute to their community.

Since our founding in 1945, St. Luke’s graduates have gone on to highly competitive independent, boarding, and public high schools throughout New York City and beyond. They leave us exceptionally well prepared for their next chapter while carrying with them the relationships, values, and sense of belonging they developed here.

As I begin my 17th year at St. Luke’s, I continue to be inspired by the joy, warmth, and spirit of this community. There is something very special about watching children grow from their earliest years into confident young people ready to take on high school and the world beyond our gates.
