Our unique community supports young people in their academic, creative, and social development during a critical period of their growth.
As the Chief of Admissions & Enrollment, my role—and my joy—is to guide your family through our admissions process. Since our founding in 1945, our graduates have gone to highly competitive independent, boarding, and public high schools across New York City and beyond. Even as they leave our gates, our students hold onto and build upon their St. Luke's education, which is grounded in both our mission and our five community standards: dignity, compassion, respect, excellence, and honesty.
At St. Luke's School, we take pride in our comprehensive Junior Kindergarten - Grade 8 education. This model offers numerous benefits, including a seamless and continuous educational experience, fostering long-term relationships between students, teachers, and families. It's a journey that helps children build a strong academic foundation, develop leadership skills, and mature in a supportive, close-knit community, preparing them for a successful transition to high school and beyond.
As I embark on my 15th year at St. Luke's, I am continually inspired by the dedication and spirit of our students, families, and staff. Our community is exceptional, and I am honored to be a part of it.
Please peruse our website to learn about our challenging and supportive academic environment and the many extracurricular programs shaping our students' experiences. Sign up for a tour to experience the joy of a St. Luke's School education firsthand, and please get in touch with us at admissions@stlukeschool.org with any questions you might have.
I am thrilled to begin this journey with you and your family. Your decision to consider St. Luke's School is a testament to your commitment to your child's education, and we are excited to be a part of it.
Sincerely,
Susan Harriot
