St. Luke’s School fosters a feeling of family.

Our school actively supports a climate of trust and understanding, communicating values, and building community. We are intentional in creating opportunities for families to interact with each other, with professional staff, and with students across grades.

St. Luke’s was not only a wonderful experience for my children, but for myself as well. It was a warm, caring, and inclusive community.

Parents Association

Our Parents Association creates vibrant and engaging events and points of connection for St. Luke's School families throughout the year.

Many of our school events are organized by parent volunteers through the Parents Association and help parents to become acquainted with one another and to begin what often become lifelong friendships. Parents give generously of their time and talent in a variety of ways to plan every aspect of these events. Join us to work in partnership as we build a vibrant and joyful community together.

PA Meetings are held once a month, September through May. Join us for updates from Head of School Tracy Fedonchik, committee chair reports on upcoming events, and special guest speakers.

Parent Connections

The PA and St. Luke's works to connect parents through a variety of events such as parent coffees and happy hours in the Fall, family dinners in the winter, and parent events in the spring.

Parent Coffees & Happy Hours

These informal grade level events help parents build connections and get to know others in their class and grades.

Family Dinners

The school and PA co-host three dinners in the winter to connect parents over a meal and dessert across grade levels. The dinner's are for JK - Grade 1; Grades 2-4, and Grades 5-8. This adult only event is a great time to break bread with fellow parents and professional staff.

Parent Education Events

The PA  and St. Luke's coordinate different events for professional staff and parents to help develop a deeper understanding of the school's mission and program and to bring experts in various fields to present and lead conversations with parents. We have hosted speakers around topics surrounding technology, social and emotional health, the teen brain, and more.

Interested in Getting Involved?

Volunteering connects us in a unique and special way to other parents, to the faculty, even to our children. This sense of connection deeply enriches each family’s relationship with the school. It tells our children that we value their education and allows us to express our appreciation for the wonderful experience our children have at school every day.
