Renée M. Chung
Renée M. Chung is a member of the St. Luke’s Class of 1997 and has served on the school’s Board of Trustees since 2021. Renée is the eldest of three children who are all St. Luke’s alumni. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, and raised in Brooklyn, Renée is also a proud alumna of Prep for Prep and the Trinity School. Renée is the Director of Admissions at The Cathedral School of St. John the Divine in New York City. Previously, she served as the Associate Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and Dean of Parent & Student Inclusion and Belonging at the Spence School.
Nikisha “Nikki” Ferguson-Arnold
Nikisha “Nikki” Ferguson-Arnold is an Assistant General Counsel at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, providing legal counsel, collaborating with City and State agencies on new initiatives, and serving on the agency’s legislative committee. Nikki and her husband Damien Arnold are the proud parents of Dylan (Grade 5) and Dominic (Grade 1). She has been a St. Luke’s class parent since 2015 and has worked on the Christmas Fair and Spring Benefit decorating committees. Nikki serves as an Admissions open house ambassador and sits on the school’s Enrollment and Grounds for our Future Committees.
Holly Fogle (Committee Co-Chair)
Holly Fogle (Committee Co-Chair) grew up on a farm in the Appalachian foothills. She graduated from The Wharton School and was a partner at McKinsey & Company. She is the co-founder and Executive Director of Nido de Esperanza (Nest of Hope) where she works with immigrant families and their young children living in poverty. She has also founded The Bridge Project, New York City’s first direct cash program at scale. This is her 12th year as a St. Luke's parent; she and husband Jeff Lieberman have a daughter, Alex, in Grade 8, and a son, John, who is a sophomore at Trinity. Holly has served on the St. Luke’s Board for eight years and as Board Chair for three years.
Rebecca Morse (Committee Co-Chair)
Rebecca Morse (Committee Co-Chair) and her husband Tyler have two daughters at St. Luke's, Georgia (Grade 5) and Phoebe (Grade 1). They live in Chelsea. A former attorney, Rebecca is a director at MCR, the hotel company with properties including The High Line Hotel, the TWA Hotel and the Royalton. She is a Trustee of the Juilliard School. Rebecca joined the St. Luke’s Board in 2020 and has also served on the Strategic Planning and Marketing Committees. She currently serves as the co-chair of the school’s Grounds for Our Future campaign.
Nisha McGreevy
Nisha McGreevy is the parent of three St. Luke’s graduates: Jack ‘12, Kate ’14, and Will ‘19. She served as Chair of St. Luke’s Board of Trustees for nine years and as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for the two years prior. As Board Chair, Nisha worked with the school’s leadership and community on significant strategic changes, including the school’s first formal strategic plans and independence from the Episcopal Diocese, a multi-generational lease for the current site, the development of a major facility addition, and the school’s first capital campaign. She is a seasoned executive with over 30 years’ experience in the investment banking, real estate, and restaurant sectors.
Wes Powell
Wes Powell has served on St. Luke’s Board of Trustees since 2020. He and husband Michael Rourke are the parents of Olivia Rourke (Grade 1) and Beckett Rourke, who attended St. Luke’s from JK through Grade 4 and is now in 7th grade at the Windward School. They live in West Chelsea. Wes is a partner at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where he practices litigation and antitrust law and leads the firm’s pro bono practice. He is member of the Board of Directors of the New York City AIDS Memorial and the Board of Advisors of the Vanderbilt University College of Arts and Sciences. Wes is a Tennessee native and 28-year New Yorker.
Elon Rosenberg
Elon Rosenberg has been a teacher at St. Luke’s for 21 years. With a degree in Elementary Education and a master’s in Film Studies, Elon joined St. Luke’s as an associate teacher with Grade 1 but has spent most of his time at St. Luke's in Grade 4, where he has a been a head teacher since 2007. Over the course of his career at the school, Elon has served as a leader on a variety of committees, including the Math Committee, and as a Lower School curriculum coordinator for Religion, Math and Social Studies. Previously, he was a faculty representative on the Board of Trustees. He lives with his husband and two cats and dogs in Brooklyn.
Yelin Song
Yelin Song has served on the St. Luke's Board of Trustees for three years and is the co-chair of both the Enrollment Committee and the Trustee Committee. She has two sons at St. Luke’s, Connor (Grade 5) and Benji (Grade 2). Yelin is a graduate of the Hotel School at Cornell University and is currently involved in a retail project at the PUBLIC hotel in NYC. She and her husband, Bert, are active supporters of Steady Buckets, City Harvest and Robin Hood. She lives in the West Village.
The Reverend Caroline Stacey
The Reverend Caroline Stacey has been the Rector of St. Luke’s since May 2005. She was born and brought up in England, where she studied music, receiving an MA with honors from St. Andrew’s University. Mother Stacey attended Berkeley Divinity School at Yale where she graduated summa cum laude in 1990. After seminary, she became an assistant at Trinity Wall Street. In 1992, she returned to New Haven as Associate Rector at Trinity on the Green. Before arriving at St. Luke’s, Mother Stacey was Rector of All Saints’ Church in East Lansing, Michigan. Mother Stacey and her husband Scott Askegard can often be seen in the company of their lively Jack Russell, Patches.
Joe Wood
Joe Wood is the Dean of Student Life at St. Luke’s School. For the last 11 years, he has also served as the school’s Athletic Director. With a 32-year career in Independent Schools, Joe joined St. Luke’s in 1990, leaving in 1993 to teach at Packer Collegiate School in Brooklyn. He was also Athletic Director
and Chair of the Physical Education Department at the Berkeley Carroll School for eight years. Joe rejoined St. Luke’s in 2011 and has also served as the faculty representative on St. Luke’s Board of Trustees. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, who was a Kindergarten teacher at St. Luke’s from 1990 until 2000.
