Other Giving Opportunities
Capital Campaigns
Every so often, the school will ask families to contribute to a capital campaign in addition to annual giving, which helps support construction and other special projects that enhance our facilities, academics, and financial assistance programs.
Grade 8 Gift
Established by the Class of 1999, this special tradition gives parents of the Grade 8 class the opportunity to express their gratitude and appreciation for the St. Luke’s experience that has helped to shape their soon-to-be graduate. The gift commemorates the departing students and “gives back” something enduring to future classes at St. Luke’s. In years past, class gifts have included a kiln for the art studio, the Hudson Street entrance sign, new library furniture, and a DNA machine for the science lab.
End of Year PA Gift
In the spring of each year, the PA collects funds and then gives each professional staff member a generous gift card. Parents are asked to participate in this collection, so that our professional staff may be recognized equitably.
Memorial Gifts or Honorarium
Memorial and honorary gifts are a particularly meaningful way to pay tribute to a loved one, faculty member, classmate, or friend. A note will be sent to the family of the loved one or the honoree to notify them of the gift; the amount of the gift will not be disclosed.
